Prescott Pines Camp

We went to Prescott Pines Camp in August. We had a team of six members and we spent 4 days there working in the camp.

The camp was damaged by weather this past year and our team was there in April helping repair some of the damage. We had to return because it is a joy working with the wondeful staff there. One of the main projects that was under construction was their kitchen and dining room. It was damaged by a tree that fell on it. Here is a picture of the new kitchen and dining room. We enjoyed all the delicous food they prepared for us.

Shari and Anna Marie had the job of painting the frontier town. They took on the project and worked hard to restore the town.

Pastor Larry, Susan, Alana and Lisa took on the task to add a some rows of logs to a log cabin fort that they are building for a bridge. We cut down trees, moved the trees and cut them to make them the perfect size for the fort. We had the use of a John Deere which was indespensible to our work.

Pastor Larry knows how to get the job done and be resourceful!

This is the fort. We were able to complete one and a half rows.

While there we went to the town of Prescott to do some site seeing and shopping!
